ABOUT RACE TO ELIMINATE SEXUAL VIOLENCE

This run/walk is hosted by members of the Central Ohio Sexual Assault Task Force and is part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month activities during the month of April.
 
Partnering Central Ohio Sexual Assault Task Force members are: The Ohio National Guard Sexual Assault Prevention & Response office, Sexual Assault Response Network of Central Ohio (SARNCO), Deaf World Against Violence Everywhere(DWAVE), Buckeye Region Anti-Violence Organization (BRAVO), and Climate of Change.
Members of this Task Force are engaged daily in the fight to eliminate sexual violence from our communities. Each organization has deeply rooted interests in serving those women, men, youth, and families affected by sexual violence.
Join us in the Race to Eliminate Sexual Violence from our communities to support survivors.
By participating in this 5K Run/Walk you will be STANDING UP to eliminate sexual violence, helping the Central Ohio Sexual Assault Task Force bring advocacy to survivors of sexual violence, and awareness and prevention efforts to the community.



 



Date:  April 13, 2013
Tiime:  9:00a.m.  Registration and packet pickup begin at 8:00a.m.

Cost:  Pre-registered $30 (race week will increase) - The $30 entry
fee is for a limited time only so sign up soon!

Race location is Scioto Audobon Metro Park.  Directions are here.

Packet pick-up will be at Fleet Feet Sports, between
10am and 8pm on April 11 and 10am - 5pm April 12.

Each participant will receive a technical shirt and race goodie bag
. 
Top 3 Female and Top 3 Male finishers will receive a medal and Fleet Feet gift card,
and Top 3 Volunteers

V-Power Yoga will donate a Yoga for Runners class for everyone who brings
in their race bib on Sunday, April 14 at 2pm.  www. vpoweryoga.com
