About the 3rd Annual Big Nut Strut
 


The Third annual Big Nut Strut will provide funds to all Big Walnut Elementary School PTOs.  The goal of the PTOs is to enrich the students' educational experience by providing additional programs and materials that will enhance their curriculum, especially during a time when funding and programs have been eliminated.  The 5K run/walk gives the entire school district a chance to come  to show our EAGLE PRIDE!

  • DATE: Sunday October 7th, 2012
  • LOCATION: Kroger Plaza - Sunbury, Ohio
  • DIRECTIONS: CLICK HERE
  • TIME: Kids Run 12:00pm/5K 12:30; registration begins at 11:00am
  • ENTRY FEE:
    • Kids Run (Medal Only) - $5 until 9/14
    • Kids Run (Medal Only) - $10 after 9/14
    • 5-11 years - $15 until 9/14
    • 5-11 years - $20 after 9/14
    • Individual 5K Run/Walk - $25 until 9/14
    • Individual 5K Run/Walk - $30 after 9/14
  • EARLY REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICK UP:  Early packet pick up and registration will take place at Sunbury Chiropractic starting Thursday, October 4th  from 3-7 pm,  Friday, October 5th  from 9 am-12 pm, and Saturday October 6th from 8 am-12 pm. Sunbury Chiropractic is located at 123 St. Rt. 3 Sunbury, OH 43074.
  • RACE DAY REGISTRATION/PACKET PICK UP: 10:00am
  • THE COURSE: The course will run through the neighborhoods surrounding the Kroger Plaza.
  • THE GOODIES: All participants will receive a technical race shirt and finish line refreshments.  You must pre-register to be guaranteed a shirt the day of the run. Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in each group. The groups are ages 5/6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and older.
  • DIRECTIONS TO SUNBURY: From 71 head east on St. Rt. 36/37 to the intersection of St. Rt. 3. The Kroger Plaza will be on the right.
