About the Steps of Faith 5k Run/Walk and 1K Family Fun Walk

 

Steps of Faith 5K Walk / Run and 1K Family Fun Walk is a community event inspired by the simple desire to glorify God in all that we do.   In so many ways, our faith life parallels that of a race and its preparation … discipline, faith, endurance, perseverance.  This event is a fellowship opportunity to encourage one another to persevere in running our race (Hebrews 12:1).

Race proceeds will go to support a variety of local, national, and international ministries. They include the following:

Race Details
 

- Date: Sunday, September 23, 2012
- Time:  5K run/walk and 1K family fun walk begin at 5:00PM;  Race day registration begins at 4:00PM and continues until 4:45PM.
- Location: McNamara Park in Genoa Township (north of Westerville at St.Rt.3 and Big Walnut)
-Entry Fees:  Before September  1:
                                      $25 (ages 13 & up)
                                      $15 (ages 6 to 12)
                                      Free (ages 5 & under)
                                     ($75 family cap on “immediate family” entries of 4 to 6 participants.)
 After September 1, entry fees increase by $5 and family cap by $10.
 
-Awards:  No awards will be provided based upon finish time, so just RUN YOUR RACE.  Post-race drawings will be held and include all race participants.
 
-Packet Pick-up: Race packets may be picked up at Fleet Feet Columbus on Friday, September 21 (10AM-8PM) and Saturday, September 22 (10AM-6PM).
