KidsRoll! UA Triathlon & Fitness Race Festival

Come join us for our 1st water park kids races at the beautiful Reed Road Water Park in Upper Arlington benefitting the Boy Scouts of Central Ohio. With great spectator viewing, space is limited. The event begins in the water park, moves onto a short bike ride on closed roads and then finishes with a run on the walking path around the water park. Cant swim? Do the Splash N Dash...NO SWIMMING Required!

Afterwards join us for our FREE Family Festival where we will have bouncy houses, game trucks, laser tag, trampolines, hula hoop challenge, jump rope competition and much more fun! Also, check out what you get for each race registration a ton of fun things!!

RACING CATEGORIES

  • Ages 7-10: competitive, timed race

  • Ages 11-15: competitive, timed race

  • Ages 4-15: Splash N Dash! No swimming required. (Family members/Friends are allowed to help their kids!)

THE COURSE

  • Swim Course: The kids triathlon begins in the 25 yard pool with a time trial format where participants are entering the water one or two racers at a time. Older kids swim a snake pattern. Younger kids swim a serpentine pattern

  • The Bike Course will be on nearby closed roads making multiple loops.

  • The Run Course returns to the park for 1 or 2 loops, depending on the age.

  • Splash N Dash will have your kiddo get in the zero entry pool, run in & out no swimming, but they'll get wet! From there, your kiddo will hop onto their bike to begin the one (1) loop on the bike course (you can ride with them). After finishing the bike loop, all racers go to to the transition area and put on their running apparel and head to the park for a short run. Run with them, have some fun!

Questions

  • Hydration: There will be one fluid station in transition & Gatorade and water at the finish line.

  • Restrooms: Located inside the Water Park near transition as well as a portable restroom near the tennis courts where the run occurs.

  • Can I Spend the Rest of the Day at the Park? Every race participant receives a free pass to the water park! Youll get a chance to purchase tickets for the rest of the family to enjoy this water park. A one-day pass costs $12 ages 3 years old and older. Ages 2 & under are free.

  • Start time: 8:15am

  • Parking is available on nearby streets or across Reed Road at The Wellington School.

  • All participants must have a USAT license.

  • Registration is available through Fri, June 22nd. Paper registration is available at McDonalds, Trek Stores, Road Runner Sports or race morning.
