About the Licking Memorial Run For Your Health 5k

Licking Memorial Health Systems exists to Improve the Health of the Community. The objective of the "For Your Health" 5k Run and Fun Walk is to offer a community event that encourages a healthy lifestyle. The Dawes Arboretum is the perfect setting for a 5k race and a one mile fun walk.

  • Date: Saturday, August 4, 2012
  • Location: The Dawes Arboretum, 7770 Jacksontown Road, Newark, Ohio 43055

  • Time: 8:30 a.m. 5k start time; 8:40 a.m.  Fun Walk start time; registration begins at 7:30 a.m.
  • Entry Fee:
    • 5k Registration Fee: $15 through July 27; $20 July 28 through race day
    • Fun Walk Registration Fee: Free. Online registration is not available for fun walkers. Please register at the event on race day, or by mailing a completed registration form to:

    • Top 3 Male and Female Overall
    • Top Male and Female in each age division
    • Chip timing will be used for race results
  • How to Register:
    • Online
    • Download the paper registration form HERE. Mail it to the address listed above.
    • Race Day registration starting at 7:30 a.m.
  • Race Packets
    • Those registering by July 27 may pick up their packets on Friday, August 3 between 3:00 p.m, and 7:00 p.m. at Licking Memorial Hospital, First Floor Conference Room.
Please note that your completed registration authorizes LMHS to use photos from the 2012 “For Your Health” 5K Run and Fun Walk in promotional material.
