Giving Hope... Making Miracles

Jassmine Cobb is a 12 year old little girl who was diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anemia.  Thanks to The Children's Organ Transplant Association (COTA), Jassmine was able to receive a life-saving bone marrow transplant in 2010.  COTA's priority is to assure that no child is denied a transplant or excluded from a transplant waiting list due to lack of funds.  
 
Jassmine has a team of volunteers helping with her family's expenses that resulted from her transplant.  Team Jassmine is holding its first annual 5k Run/Walk Event in honor of Jassmine and her family.  Please join us for a fun-filled morning of running/walking, live entertainment, and a great raffle - all to support a wonderful little girl!  100% of all funds raised will go to Jassmine's transplant-related expenses.

Distance: 5k

Time: 9:00 am runners, 9:05 walkers

Location: Village of Minerva Park

Early Packet Pickup:  Fleet Feet, 1180 E Powell Rd, Lewis Center, April 19 and 20, 10am - 5pm

Race Day Parking:  Minerva Lake Pool, 5300 Valley Rd, Columbus

   **  NO PARKING IS ALLOWED AT THE MINERVA LAKE GOLF CLUB!!

Entry Fee:

$25 through April 19, 2012

$30 on Race Day.

If you are participating  and are under 18 years of age, you will need to have a parental sign off, which can be done at the registration table the day of the race

  • Water stop along the way
  • Post-race food
  • 1 raffle ticket per runner
  • Awards to the top 3 men, top 3 women, and top 3 children.
