Come Run or Walk with your Dogs to help support Dog Rescue!   

 
Join Hand Me Down Dobes and  the many different rescue organizations that will be represented at this event including breed specific groups. 
 
In addition, there will be other dog-related booths on site.  Our goal is to increase awareness of the many wonderful dogs waiting to find forever homes.
 
HMDD has rescued homeless Dobermans and been an advocate for spaying and neutering, training, and responsible humane pet care since 1994.


The whole family is welcome including your four-legged furkids.  Enjoy a fun filled spring day with a walk or run and help support this worthy cause.

WHEN:

Registration opens at 8:00 am

5k Race: 9:00 am

1 Mile Memorial Walk: 9:30 am

 

 

ENTRY FEE:

  • 1 Mile Fun Walk: $25 through April 8th, $30 April 9th through race day.
  • Student 1 Mile Fun Walk: $20.
  • Adult 5K: $25 through April 8th, $30 April 9th through race day.
  • Student 5K:$20.
  • Virtual Run or Walk: $20 through race day -  Want to support the race but can't be there? Then be a virtual runner and you will still receive a race shirt!!

 All runners and walkers will receive a tech race shirt and all dogs attending will get a matching bandana. Dogs are welcome for both the 5k race and 1 mile walk.

Awards will be given to the the Top 3 Men, Top 3 Women and 1st Place dog!!

About Hand Me Down Dobes

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization staffed entirely by volunteers committed to saving homeless Dobermans.  One of the largest Doberman Pinscher rescues in Ohio, we also serve parts of surrounding states.  Our dogs come from animal shelters and owner surrenders.  We carefully place these homeless dogs into approved adoptive homes resulting in a high adoption success rate.  Since 1994, HMDD has placed over 1,000 Dobes into loving, forever homes.
