* Times run in this event can be used for qualifying for the 2012 Boston Marathon. Visit their website
(www.baa.org) for more information.
* Our event is titled "Last Chance", and is that in name only.
When this event started, in 2000, Boston operated on a 'qualify by a certain
date' requirement. And our event was held as close to that date as
possible. But a few years back, they changed to a maximum registration
limit. And since we kinda like the name of our little race, we decided to
stick with it!
Why Run Last Chance?
- Unique, flat, fast course!
- USATF Certified course OH03006PR
- Fast accurate results with splits
- New in 2011, it is up to each participant to keep track of their laps. We recommend all marathoners have a support person to help with this.
- 26 fluid/support stations with Gatorade
- Great post race refreshments
- Music on course
- Easy spectator viewing
- Long sleeve technical shirts for the first 500 registrants!
