Event Information

Walnut Springs Middle School will host its first 5K Walk/Run to benefit One World Running, a non-profit organization that ships gently used and new athletic shoes to third world countries. You can learn more about this organization by visiting their website at www.oneworldrunning.com.

The 5K event will take place Saturday, May 3, 2008, at 9:00 AM.

The race will start at Walnut Springs Middle School located at 888 East Walnut Street in Westerville with parking available at the school or across the street at Mark Twain Elementary. All participants should arrive no later that 8:45 AM to receive his/her race number.

Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers and to the top male and female youth finishers age 15 or under.

All race entries should be postmarked no later then April 30, 2008.

An entry fee of $15.00 should accompany your registration

Race Day: Please bring any used or new athletic shoes to donate to One World Running. Entry fees will be used to offset shipping costs.

In place of a race shirt, commemorative bracelets will be given to all participants. If you choose to register online, the shirt option is listed but they will not be given.
