Out Run Autism proudly announces our 5th Annual 5k and 1 Mile “Fun Run” where participants may jog, run, walk, skip or crawl one mile.

Come for the Run, Stay for the Party!

All profits benefit charitable causes for autism such as Central Ohio Families for Effective Autism Treatment, COFEAT. Tshirts guaranteed for everyone registering by April 12th.

Registration & Packet Pick Up

Packet pick-up and race day registration will be held on race day (April 19th) beginning at 9:00am at Homestead Park with the 5K run/walk to begin at 10:00am.

Homestead Park is located at 4675 Cosgray Rd Hilliard, OH 43026.

Entry Fee

5K:

• Before April 12th - $20 (includes event t-shirt* and post race refreshments)
• April 12th through race day - $25 (includes event t-shirt* and post race refreshments)

1 Mile:

• Before April 12th - $20 (includes event t-shirt* and post race refreshments)
• April 12th through race day - $25 (includes event t-shirt* and post race refreshments)

Family of Four Special:

• $50 (includes event t-shirt* and post race refreshments)

*Event shirts can only be guaranteed to pre-registered participants.

COFEAT

Central Ohio Families for Effective Autism Treatment (COFEAT) consists of parents, professionals and other people interested in working with individuals with autism. COFEAT provides information and support to help parents and primary caregivers find effective treatment for individuals with autism. COFEAT believes that Early Intensive Behavior Intervention (IBI) gives children with autism the best opportunity to reach their full potential. Parents should view COFEAT as a forum to discuss issues, ask questions and learn more about IBI, as well as other related issues in dealing with a child with autism.

COFEAT provides special events per year to support our varied membership. For example, COFEAT has a summer picnic in August at Lane Road Park in Upper Arlington. COFEAT also sponsors information booths at various events including the Children’s Hospital Autism Center Bi-Annual Conference and the Outrun Autism 5K race.

COFEAT provides a monthly New Parent Meeting for parents and professionals new to Intensive Behavioral Invention. The meetings are held at Columbus Children’s Hospital Autism Clinic at 187 West Schrock Road in Westerville. The New Parent Meeting is held at 6:00pm on the Third Wednesday of the month.
