Our Beneficiary

In times of war we tend to be more mindful of the sacrifices our military men and women make. The reality is we should be thankful every day, because even in times of peace our military protects our freedom. The Greater Powell Veteran’s Memorial is being built to honor all Veterans past, present, and future.

The granite has been delivered and is being prepared for engraving. The footers are to be installed by the end of March and the Monumnet pieces should be installed by the end of April. The work for the Memorial is being done by Columbus Art memorial under the direction of the Greater Powell Veteran’s Memorial Foundation.

For complete details on the Memorial visit their website:

Say Thank You on Race Day!

On race day an oversized canvas will be available for all participants to leave a personal message or simple thank you to our veterans past and present. Following the event the canvas will be taken to the dedication ceremony, and will then be sent to a VFW Hospital!

The Course

All events will be run on the network of trails within the Sports Complex and neighboring Heritage Park.
