Event Information

The 3rd annually Heart & Sole Community Walk/Run will be held Sept. 29, 2007. The 2006 event drew more than 500 participants from across Ohio, an increase of almost 200 over the inaugural year.

The event, of which all proceeds benefit programs and initiatives being funded by United Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties, is held in conjunction with the Wooster Area Chamber of Commerce’s Woosterfest, Wooster’s fall celebration that offers plenty of great food and entertainment for the entire family.

Registration and packet pick up

Pre-registered entries must be received by Sept. 21. Online registration is available. Race day registration and packet pick-up will begin at the corner of Liberty and Market at 7:30 a.m.

Participants who pre-register will receive a specially designed long-sleeve T-shirt.

Awards

Specially designed hand-crafted pottery awards will be presented to the top three male and female overall and three deep in the following categories.:

• 5k: 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
• 10k and half marathon: 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
