Event Information

For most people in Central Ohio Alum Creek brings summer memories of boats, beaches, and suntans. Then reality sets in and you realize the summer’s over, the boats are put away, the beaches are cold, and the only suntan you’re going to get is in a tanning bed or on a tropical vacation!

On Sunday November 18th at 9AM we invite you to forget everything you think you know about Alum Creek State Park and join us for an off the pavement and out of the ordinary 5K and 10K!!

This will be an adventure away from ordinary running for some and just another day in the park for others but a good time for everyone!

• Race day registration opens: 8:00AM
• Start time: 9:00AM
• Location: Alum Creek State Park Boat Launch off Africa Rd.
• How much is it? $20 until November 4th or $25 after
• What you’ll get out of the deal: A good workout, a good time, an official long sleeve event shirt, fresh baked bagels from Panera Bread, and fresh hot chocolate at the finish!
• After an award? We’ll give you one if you’re one of the top 3 male or female finishers, or top 3 in your age group

Directions

The event will take place at the Alum Creek boat launch off Africa Rd. We realize there are 2 boat launch areas off Africa Rd.  However the one Conquer the Creek will take place at is the southern location between south of Plumb Rd. and Africa Rd.

From I-71 and Polaris Parkway. Go east on Polaris Parkway to Africa Rd. Turn left on Africa Rd. After crossing Lewis Center Rd.  Boat launch area is approximately one mile ahead on the left.
