Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians Foundation is proud to announce its first annual Run 4 the Health of It four miler run/walk and Kids Fun Run!

Free Food, Activities, Fun For the Entire Family!

The race will take runners and walkers through the scenic paved pathway of Westerville Soccer Complex and beautiful Heritage Park. This event will be filled with free food, beverages and activities for the entire family to enjoy!

Kids, win a new Nintendo DS!

Host and news personality Mindy Drayer will help kick off the event followed by Kid's Fun Run beginning at 8:30 a.m. All children participating in the Kids Fun Run will receive a special participation prize and automatically be entered into a random drawing where one lucky winner will receive a brand new Nintendo DS!

Win a brand new Trek bike!

The main event begins at 9 a.m. with awards immediately following the race. Special awards to the top 3 overall male and female winners. Each 4 miler participant will receive an automatic entry into a raffle for a chance to win gift certificates to various local restaurants. One lucky winner will ride away on a brand new Trek bike! MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.

Double Your chances To Win!

Would you like 1 extra raffle ticket to double your chance at winning the Trek Bike? Any 4 miler race participant who drops off 3 canned goods to the event will receive 1 ticket. Limit 1 bonus ticket per race participant. All canned goods will be donated to a local food bank/charity.

Net proceeds to this event will benefit the underserved of central Ohio

Entry Fee

  • Start Time - 8:30 a.m. Kids Fun Run, 9:00 a.m. 4 miler run/walk
  • Field: Open to all runners and walkers
  • Entry Fee:
    • 4 Mile - $25 before August 25th. $30 on Aug 25th through Race Day
    • Kid's Fun Run - $15
  • The entry fee includes a cool event technical shirt. Shirts are only guaranteed to the first 500 participants.

Awards

Top 3 male and female overall winners will receive special awards
Top male & female in each of the following age groups:

  • 19 & under
  • 20-29
  • 30-39
  • 40-49
  • 50 & over

Special prizes will be awarded to the first male and female to reach the 1, 2 , and 3 mile markers!

  • Only 1 prize per participant so if the same male and female lead start to finish, the prizes for the second and third mile markers will roll down to the next male and female.

Pre-race Packet Pick Up

Pre-race packet pick up will be available at Fleet Feet Sports located at 1174 E. Powell Rd. in Lewis Center on the following days.

  • Friday August 29 NOON - 6:00pm
  • Saturday August 30 10:00am - 6:00pm
  • Sunday August 31 NOON - 5:00pm

Race day packet pick up and registration at the Westerville Sports Complex, located at 350 N. Cleveland Ave. will begin at 7:30am.

PARKING IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THE WESTERVILLE COMMUNITY CENTER AS THEY ARE OPEN!

Directions: 350 N. Cleveland Ave. 1-71 to Polaris Parkway. Go east on Polaris to Cleveland Ave. Turn right on Cleveland Ave. going south and the sports complex is ahead on your right. Use map below for turn by turn directions

About COPCPF

The Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians Foundation (COPCPF) is a donor advised fund of the Columbus Foundation. It is a non-profit organization that was established on July 26, 2007 by the Board of Directors of the Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians, Inc. which is a group of 170 physicians consisting of internal medicine, pediatric, family practice, infectious disease, and endocrinology physicians located at 39 practice sites. Most practices are located in Franklin County and two in Union County.
