Event InformationCome one, Come all, to the most anticipated race in 2010! Experience a fast 4 mile course in the heart of New Albany. All proceeds from this event will benefit the New Albany Symphony Orchestra. The course begins on Market Street and winds through the New Albany Country Club Community. The course is an out and back route using the first 2 miles of the New Albany Walking Classic Course. The DivisionsRUN, WALK, JOG DIVISION: This division is for all runners or any participant that will be doing some combination of running, walking, or jogging. WALKING DIVISION: This division is for all participants that will be strictly walking or race walking. The RewardsAwards will be given to the top 3 overall male and female participants in both the run,walk, jog division and the walking only division. Age group awards will be given to finishers in both divisions in the following categories - 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over Entry FeesREGISTRATION FEES: $25 THROUGH MARCH 31ST AND NEW FOR 2010 - BECOME A PERSONAL DONOR: $35 THROUGH MARCH 31ST *Anyone registering at the donor level on or before April 17 will receive a complimentary ticket to the New Albany Symphony April 18 concert "Springtime in Rome." About NASONASO is a non-profit community orchestra made up of professional musicians, community players and students. NASO provides musical enrichment for New Albany through performances and educational programs. The professional players act as mentors to the community members and students, thereby furthering their musical education and raising the overall level of performance of the orchestra. NASO performs four concerts per year in New Albany at the Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts. The Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center is a brand new facility located on the New Albany Schools campus. The elegant, yet intimate, auditorium boasts excellent acoustics and seats 786.
