About The Cardinal Orthopaedic Institute Spirit Sprint 5k Run/Walk

Show your spirit, raise money for your school and earn bragging rights in the first-ever...Cardinal Orthopaedic Institute Spirit Sprint 5k Run/Walk event. Show off your Gahanna Lion or Reynoldsburg Raider pride! The school district with the most registered participants will earn 75% of the event proceeds (and all the bragging rights!); and the runner-up will earn the remaining 25%.

All winnings will directly benefit each districts' Safe Routes to School programs. The goal of Safe Routes is to improve safety and encourage more children to walk and bike to school. In the process, programs are working to improve overall physical health, reduce traffic congestion and better the environment --making communities more livable for everyone. • Entry Fee: $20.00 through April 1st - $25.00 April 2nd through race day
• Awards:
  • A trophy (and bragging rights) will be awarded to the district with the greatest number of registered participants.
  • Individual awards will be given to the top 5 overall male and female participants
  • All registrants will receive a event shirt and post race refreshments
